Dear captin123 I am so sorry that you and your husband are struggling . I can only say that in the short time I have been on this forum I’ve had excellent feedback and a lot of hope. As well as great advice. As hard as it is to know others are going through a similar journey to us it is a relief to feel a sense of connection / camaraderie with people who are essentially strangers to one another but share my best hopes and worst fears . I hope that it will be that sense of connection and platform to be open and honest will be crucial to getting the support we all need coping with this disease xxxi truly wish you well xxx

Hi captain 123 I am the one with cirrhosis and my wife is the one looking after me we are 67 and I’m waiting for a liver transplant. We can’t do everything we want to do but every problem we come against we try to find a way round it this way we have a few laughs and then find things we can do together, it will not stop us enjoying life , I really hope you two can find things to do and enjoy 👍.Stay Safe All

If there is anything in particular you need help with then just ask away. I have been supporting/caring for hubby who also has cirrhosis since April 2012. We've been through a whole load of stuff from decompensated cirrhosis, dietary issues, battled through the benefits system, been through transplant listing and then delisting and more.
All the best, Katie
