Urine dip tests

I'm just wondering - would the home Urine dip test always show something if you had a liver issue - the ones that test Protien, Billarubine, Creatanine 12 parameter things.

I went to the docs a few weeks ago with my ongoing (2 years 1 month) right flank / back / hip pains and he just did the dip test and said again its spinal arthritis as shown on my MRI.
