I have cardiac cirrhosis from right sided heart failure. Tricuspid valve is regurgitating severely sending blood back to liver, congesting it to the point of cirrhosis. I have no liver symptoms. Found incidentally on CT scan. Anyway, I know that survival is 9-12 years for compensated cirrhosis at diagnosis. But what would time frame be if I was just diagnosed today instead of three years ago? Does it reset?

Prognosis for compensated cirrhosis
I'm so sorry you are going through this and the worry of it all. I don't see why you would think compensated would only give 9-12 years. If you lead a healthy lifestyle, cut out salt and no alcohol, then as far as I am aware you could lead a fullfilling life for many years to come. I don't know a thing about cardiac cirrhosis so I would advise you to speak with one of the trust admin specialist nurses on here or contact your consultant. I'm sure they will be able to advise you. There are people on this forum who will offer support. Good luck.
There are many people alive 20 years or more after getting the cirrohsis diagnosis. It's not a death sentence. A good diet and lifestyle can in some (not all) cases give you many years, even a normal lifespan. Talk to your doctor about what steps you can start taking now. They want to help, I am sure.
