Had anyone had an MRE (magnetic resonance elastography) to diagnose their liver condition? I have read they are more accurate then other tests.

MRE?
Yes, multiple times. Posted my results from last week on this site.healthunlocked.com/fatty-li...
My Hepatologist preference MREs over Fibroscans.
Thank you so much your reply, I have had a look at your post, what is the procedure please & what symptoms lead to your diagnosis
Procedure-A “ wide paddle” is placed over your midsection positioned directly over the upper right flank.where the liver is located. No contrast solution is administered. You are placed in the regular MRE tube and directed to breath or hold your breath. The biggest difference between this and a regular MRE is that vibrations will be sent to the paddle. The procedure takes about 10 minutes once you are in the tube.
I was diagnosed with Liver NASH in 2014. My doctor doesn’t think Fibroscan provides enough information about Liver health especially fat content or iron deposits. It is also must more accurate in determining liver stiffness. I try to take once about every 6 months. In the U.S. there is also a Liverfast blood test which has returned the same results.
