Anybody had a double surgery? Keyhole gallbladder removal and umbilical hernia repair??

Hi my name is Emma i am 33 years old and in april 2017 i was diagnosed with a umbilical hernia and gallstones. Tjey have got bad now so waiting for my date for surgery. I am a little concerned as to what to expect. I have 2 kids and it worries me the time it will take to be back on my feet. Anybody been tjrough this double surgery and how did recovery go??

Hi there , my husband is currently waiting for his surgery for the same thing and he’s been told some people recover well and get back to some day to day activities after 1-2 weeks but it could take up to 6 weeks to be totally back to normal . I feel for you , having 2 young children will be hard during your recovery . Hopefully you have someone who could help you through it . My husband is awaiting his pre op this week.
