I have recently been in hospital and diagnosed with pyelonephritis. Whilst undergoing blood tests abnormalities were found with my liver. ALT and GTL both raised whilst in hospital, repeat bloods a week after showed both had lowered quite a bit but still high. Bilirubin in normal range. Had an mri of pancreas and liver and awaiting results. They have suspected stones in bile duct but I’m convincing myself it’s cancer (nothing shown on ultrasound of liver). Could also be inflammation caused due to the pyelonephritis.
Have had no abdominal pain or jaundice, have lost around a stone in 4 weeks (purposefully though).
Just scared really.

Hi Yesshe, it's such a worrying time, waiting for results. It's reassuring that the ultrasound didn't pick anything up but the MRI is gold standard for imaging and hopefully you shall receive the results soon. Do you know when to expect your results? Keep us posted,Warmest wishes,
My GP was going to speak to the hospital today so hoping I may hear soon. Driving myself mad as I also feel I feel bloated and have had indigestion on and off for over a week. I’m sure the stress and constant looking at Google is not helping.Thank you for the reply x
