wanted fo write a post to clear up a few things my fibroscan was not wrong so I apologise my results was f0 and 4.1 kpa to be exact and Iqr of 9 I do have a extremely minimal amount of fibrosis not even enough to give a grade and there is no significant damage to my liver this is what I was told today and is in my report it says no fibrosis and no significant damage I rang up to ask why it says no fibrosis when I was told i have fibrosis and was told it’s so minimal that they don’t grade it at that stage so basically they can say I have none of this isn’t good news I don’t know what is given my diagnosis I am over whelmed after been so scared still a long way to go with the tests I now need but this is good news

Thank you all ❤️❤️

I’ve been following your posts since you were diagnosed, that’s a good fibroscan score so hopefully it will give you some relief. I don’t have PSC, I have PBC instead, similar diseases but attacking different parts of the biliary tree. I was 33 when I was diagnosed (3 years ago now) and it was such a scary thing to have something that no one I know had heard of! My fibroscan was 9.5kpa so technically on the border of f2/f3, not great really, I’m waiting for another fibroscan soon to see what has happened since I was diagnosed.

Anyway, feel free to get in touch if you would like to talk to someone who knows what it’s like to be diagnosed with something so young!have a lovely weekend xx

Hi Rosemadder. I also have Pbc,i was diagnosed 2 years ago, at the age of 44. It came out suddenly from the random blood test, my lft ‘s were 10 times higher than normal. I am partly responder on Urso, so now i am on urso+bezalip. Feel free to ask any questions.

That's really good news for you, especially having had elevated lfts for so long. Brilliant.
