Stressed out
One tiny slip like that isn't going to have killed you off. You'll be fine.
My hubby who has never drank booze yet has cirrhosis was told (by his consultant) he could have a glass or two of champers at our wedding (he didn't because he's doesn't like booze).
One 'accidental' one isn't going to have done you major damage just obviously watch you don't make a habit of it or return to old ways especially as you are doing so well.

Was a large bottle of kronnemberg. Like 500 ml . Iasked for a alcohol free one. She poured it into a pint glass with some ice. And handed me bottle with a tiny bit left in. I felt abit different after drinking 2 thirds of it. Then picked to bottle up n saw 4.5 % alcohol on it. Barmaid apaulogised. Now I'm scarred all my symptoms might come bk. I deffo asked for a none alcoholic one.
Forget about it, one isn't going to have damaged you.
Put it behind you and perhaps either make sure next time before you take a drink that it's deffo alcohol free or seek out alternatives that can't be mixed up.

If you were on the list for transplant i'd have been more concerned because it would be a complete no, no.
Pheww. It's just scary. That's the only one they had in alcohol free. In fact most bars I went in didn't have any alcohol free beer type drinks.
Why don't you stick to fruit juices in the pub then there can be no confusion?
I don't like the fruit juices. I prefer the non alcoholic lagers. Plus I feel like I fit in with my mates on nights out. Social nights. But when I asked the barmaid said they had alcohol free ciders. So I said I'd have one of those. It was her fault. I've been feeling weird all day. And a few twinges in my liver area. All that had settled down.. I'm scared the toxins have got in the scars. And done something. I drank about half a pint I'd say. 4.5 strength.. I was told not a drop of alcohol ever again by liver nurse a while back.
As Katie said, that small amount won't do you any harm so forget it and move on. The more you dwell on it the worse you will feel.
Ok thanks. It's just a worry when you ask your liver nurse about alcohol and she says none at all. I will check in future and make sure I'm not given alcohol by accident.
Also MBL 70 said drink tons of water. Should I do this to make sure?
Why not. Everyone should be drinking 8 glasses of water each day anyway. But you don't need tons... just 8 glasses throughout the day.
I've drank 5 pints today. Water that is. It might flush me out I'm hoping
Jesus you don't need all that ! Calm down you don't need to be 'stressed out ' by this tiny little hickup.
It's not that much. Equals about 10 glasses instead of 8.. I'm not stressed I'm just been cautious. I don't want another session with the symptoms. Only just started feeling well after over 2 years of dreadful daily symptoms. I felt shocked n shook up when I realised the mistake. Even worse as it wasn't my fault.
Well the title of your post is "STRESSED OUT" l would in brackets say unnecessarily... the barmaid obviously misheard you, its a very low percentage of alcohol, you didn't drink much so like l say, forget it and move on.
If it were me, l personally would be avoiding pubs completely if l were worried it could happen again.
I was, stressed out at the time. The barmaid heard me loud n clear. Because I asked he if she sold none alcoholic lager. She said no sorry only no alcoholic cider.. Turns out they was in same fridge as the alcohol ones. She apologised. I go to pub to socialise as all my friends go there. So I won't avoid pubs I just will double check next time.
Great Chris. Keep calm and stay in control ! You will be fine xx
Drink a ton of water over the next couple days. Eat super healthy. You will be ok.
More proof that alcohol feeds anxiety
Hi, it’s awful the anxiety of it all. In the wide scheme of things you had a drink, not ideal as you wanted non alcoholic but mix ups happen. Firstly well done on letting it bother you as much as that shows you are taking your health seriously and 2nd good on you for not avoiding pubs ect.
I also try to order non alcoholic drinks but it’s mad how few do them!
Give yourself a pat on the back for how well you are doing and try not to beat yourself up.
Hope you have a good day
