Tests

So my doc is concerned about my liver... blood tests show that I have high Serum C or something... just been for a scan and it seemed like they were taking lots of images and around the same area and that it covered a big area so now I'm totally freaking out. I have healthy aniexty at the best of times. Should I be worried? What can I do?

Easy to say but try and stay calm at this point. None of us are able to tell what your doctors are looking for or the tests they've done. Hopefully once the results come back you will have a proper discussion with your doctors about the findings and what you can do about them.

What scan did you have? Was it just an ultrasound? (jelly on the tummy and the wand rubbed all over).

Hopefully you will have a chat with doctor soon and find out what they were looking for. When you have any tests you should ask about what they are looking for. For your consultation make a list of current symptoms, current medications and any/all questions you want to ask.

Once you find out what/if there is an issue come back and we can advise.

Thanks Katie. Yeah it was an ultra sound. I always think the worse and im sure the stress will only make my blood levels worse. Finding this group really useful 🙂
