Hi,

Just a general question, but can it be possible to have cirrhosis without any fatty liver at all?

Yes. It's possible. I have cirrhosis from PBC but not a fatty liver. This was noted on my biopsy report.

Thanks Pam. Would this be the same if it was alcohol related?

Thanks Katie.

Just a bit concerned with my recent LFT

High bilirubin (71) that has now gone down to 39.

My ALT was 70, then went down to 31 2 weeks ago, but has now gone up to 70 again!

My US was clear of any fat and no scarring that they could see.

I’ve been referred to a liver specialist now, but I’m obviously worried!
