Hi! I had a ct scan done as my common bile duct was showing mildy dilated.

My ct scan showed mildy prominent common bile duct of 7mm, they said no stones or nothing around it so they’re not concerned. I am however cos it’s not the normal size? She said ct scan showed slight fat around the liver so not sure if this can cause the duct to enlarge or not. My gallbladder showed fine, no stones etc! I do get slight back ache on and off in the area of gallbladder and sometimes feeling under my rib. It’s stressing me out as doctor is just saying it’s fines they’re retesting my bloods but what else could I do!

Why are you questioning the doctors findings ?

I’m worried that my bile duct is larger than it’s meant to be 😫 they said they have no findings why it just is. I thought maybe they’d look further to find out why.
