You gang are getting me through! Since I found this forum, I have felt more secure than I have since my diagnosis in July.

Thanks to your informative replies to my last post, I complained to to the Health board, only yesterday, and by 5 o clock last evening, I was referred to Birmingham. my gastroenterologist has requested that the biopsy be done there because of my clotting.

I am in a very fortunate position - if all goes well, of two of my adult sons offering to be a live donor for transplant. I'm not sure if this is something Birmingham do do, but will have to see. Im slurping enough water to drown myself, dieting and doing the healthy diet thing, avoiding red meat and salt, and strictly sticking to my coeliac diet (Which ive been very lax with in the past as im asymptomatic.)

if anyone has any info around the assessments I would be very grateful
