Right URQ pain. Almost normal LFTs

My LFTs have calmed down LFTs since I stopped SSRI medication. In the last 5 months my ALT has been above normal (30) but always less than 40. My AST is always low and GGT around the same level as ALT (very slightly raised). I don’t think this abnormality is significant - the Docs don’t seem worried. Anyway, I am still having URQ pain in the liver area. Anyone else experience this or have any comments?

I had pain there for over 10 years. It felt sore and used to hurt more when I bent over or leaned over. It stopped when I stopped drinking. I can’t Believe my recent scans are clear of alcoholic liver disease... I guess it healed over the last year, or I’m in the statistics of those that can drink very heavy and not get damage, although I wouldn’t test that theory and have zero desire to ever drink again. My liver is ok but my autonomic nervous system certainly isn’t!

Well I say my liver is ok, it’s not but my doctor has said it’s the gallstones causing deranged LFT’s. Waiting for the operation to have it out.. Why don’t you ask for a scan? It could put your mind at ease x

P.s I’ve been on ssri for 15 years! It can cause raise enzymes in some I believe but your doctor can confirm..
