Eyes drops and sugar

Hi all

I suffer from dry eyes and have been prescribed Clinitas Gel. I put one drop in each eye. I’ve read that is contains eythanl alcohol. As I have ARLD I’m worried that the alcohol from these drops will get in to my system and will make my liver worse. Can anyone give me information on this please.

I eat healthy and eat nuts and raisins only to just recently check the packaging to see sugar is on the ingredients listed as ‘high’, how much sugar is too much with ARLD Liver disease?
