Hello, during quarantine times i used to drink a lot with my friends mainly because we pretty much had nothing to do. Jobs were canceled so we had to have some fun somehow. Two months later now i took tests and turns out i have no hepetitis, but my ALT level is 139. And my doctor told me that this could be because of your drinking. Also im a smoker. Doctor strongly suggested me to stop drinking and smoking because it might cause serious problems later. Im curious about the symptoms though. I feel dizzy and sometimes feel vibrations in my head and it causes me extreme weakness and im scared. Could these vibrations and weaknesses be caused by my ALT level.
High ALT level: Hello, during quarantine... - British Liver Trust
High ALT level
Hello,
You dizziness and weakness could be caused by a number of different things but what is clear is that your liver is under stress. Your doctors advice to stop alcohol and smoking is well founded. You have had a wake up call, this is the time to do do something about it. With regard to your dizziness and weakness - have you spoken to your GP about it ?
Yes ive spoken to gp. As she suggests i should get my brain examined because of possible nerve damages. Plus i had a circumsision sugery a month ago. I dont speak well on English. They did a spinal anesthesia to me which lasted around 2-3 hours. It might be caused by that. Doctor also said that it might be caused by neurosis. I dont know whats causing it but doc prescripted me some medications and ill see how it goes. If it continues this way i will probably need tomography for further treatments.
My alt rises and falls after every couple of years due to psoriasis i was taking mil thistle tablets to detoxify liver during lockdown i too drank a lot and meanwhile was taking heavy dosages of anti fungul tablets which combinely increased sgot sgpt levels and i could even feel full ness and sharp pain in liver got checked and diagnosed with fatty liver. You have to spare liver for some time like i am doing give it around 4-5 months ahd then you can drink a day of month give your liver some times its AFLD alcoholic fatty liver diseases to my experience can occur even when you take medicines with alcohol as it effects the liver quite badly which solo alcohol cant
Can I ask who told you that Alt was high due to you having Psoriasis.
