I have never had high AST or ALT. My January 2020 test showed AST 25 and ALT 23. I had a blood test done June 2020 and while my ALT was 25, the AST was 67. I drink moderately, but not much change from Jan to June. I'm 57, not overweight and all my other numbers were normal. I'm mildly concerned! Any input?
thanks

A quick internet search for 'elevated AST' and the first entry states "AST elevation can indicate liver disease, but because of the wide range of conditions that can cause the elevation it isn’t a good specific marker for liver disease. When AST is elevated but ALT is normal, this shows that the AST elevation is almost certainly caused by something other than an affliction of the liver."
A one off blip without symptoms wouldn't be concerning, hopefully your doctor will repeat bloods in a few weeks or so and see if there is any sort of pattern emerging.
