Morning Sickness

Hi Guys.

Havent been on for a few years after we lost Chelle (if any old members are still here)

Cirrhosis seems to be ok but....

Does anyone else experience this or have any answers?

4am (everyday) wake up feeling all bloated with wind in my stomach and high in my throat. Hot and sweaty.

Then rush to the bathroom to vomit a few mouth fulls of bile.

Then back to sleep.

Sometimes happens again at 6am.

Then I'm fine for the rest of the day!

I just dont understand it. My liver must be forcing a movement of bial in the early hours for some reason.

Be good to hear anyones impression

Thanks

Matt

Good morning Matt,

Welcome back to the forum.

I am sorry to hear of this symptom, I am sure our forum members will be along to share their experiences, but may I suggest you discuss this symptom with your Doctors?

No-one on the forum can diagnose you, and it may be if you explain to your doctor they will have a diagnosis or treatment for this.

We are being told the NHS is very much 'open' to help with new significant symptoms.

Take care,

Trust9

Trust 9,

Thank you for responding.

Yes of course I will discuss with him.

We have discussed the nausea before.

I'm not looking for diagnosis or treatment options, I'm already diagnosed with ALD cirrhosis.

Just wondered if it was just me that experienced this.

Best Regards

Matt

Hi Matt, I haven't experienced this myself, but I'm diabetic and alot mention the dawn phenomenon where the liver dumps a lot of insulin which affects the diabetic blood sugar,so my be a similar thing that is making you vomit,by no means am I saying that you have diabetes, but obviously our liver work in mysterious ways, take care T

Hi Matt. Sounds like it's acid reflux?

Thanks Trisha and Laura.

Interesting about diabetes, I was warned a long time ago when i was overweight.

No this is something more than reflux.

So strange that it's the same time.

I don't eat late.

Thanks

Guess I'll speak to Doc again 😬

Hi Matt, the liver does detoxify when resting, yours will not do this as well as a healthy one which excretes bile through the bile though it can be so much it has to put dump the excess somewhere. I know for a fact there’s a herbal remedy drink called Mironda Citrofolia(in short, Noni juice) it grows around the equatorial rim but the best purest non chemical kind is harvested in Tahiti. That’s why you have to look for the Mrinda labelling as many make no I juice but it’s grown with pesticides or watered down.

I recommend this to all poorly liver sufferers.. I am not peddling this stuff but I have felt and seen results for myself and it will not harm your liver. There’s even testimonials where you can contact those helped. It isn’t cheap(circa £37 per month for a bottle) but I look upon that as chicken fodder compared to my health. Hope you find a remedy for a unpleasant effect of liver disease.

Keep a supply of oranges in your fridge & when you feel on the verge of vomiting quickly peel & eat one. It works every time for me whenever I feel like I'm going to throw up. The stomach acids etc. settle down the moment the first piece of orange hits my stomach. Another thing that might be worth trying is eating a small piece of lean meat & maybe some vegetables before bed. Meat takes a long time to digest so it will probably still be being digested in the morning at the time when you usually feel nauseous. This may help prevent acid reflux which Laura guessed you might have.

I'm definitely going to try this. Doc requested 'another' full panel of bloods and maybe a scan after.

Could be a rogue bial transfer in the morning that's making me sick he thinks.
