I was diagnosed in March and quit drinking right away.
End of April I started a new, very physical job as a fedex delivery driver.
Now my knees, hips, and shoulders are sore all the time. Not sure if this is because of the job or my liver.
Also, I wore up a couple of nights in a row with tingling and numbness in my hands and throbbing pain in my right hand. Now my right hand is somewhat numb. Is this something that happens with cirrhosis? I think it might be carpal tunnel syndrome so I got a brace for sleeping and work. I see my doctor on the 5th of June.

It might be the medication you are on, if any, or the new job. Best get the doc to check you over. I know waiting 2 wks is a lot when worried but tell him/her your concerns.
I had cirrhosis and never had any pain like you described. Best to try to relax and not be too worried before the appointment. Write down a crib sheet of symptoms and if the doc doesn’t know, try to get some diagnostics done or a referral.
Hi. The pain you are experiencing could be completely unrelated to the cirrhosis and may be arthritic so l think it best you see your GP. If the pain becomes intolerable and you wake up one morning being unable to move call 111 immediately. In the meantime don't panic !
I experienced something similar myself as I am a chef and work can get quite physical most of the time, turned out it was a vitamin D deficiency. After taking supplements provided by GP, stiffness and joint pain went away after a couple of weeks.
That’s interesting. I’ve had stiffness a lot recently. I also changed specialist. She tested my Vit D level and, like you I am very deficient. I have some doses to take so hopefully it should right itself.
Hi. I have these symptons the numbness in my hands and feet perhiphial nerve damage, due to alcohol abuse and cirrohis. Iv also osteoarthritis in the same joints as you describe. Alcohol rots your body. Hope this helps.
