Hi one2one, you'll get there. Some of us old timers have a bad habit of slipping into abbreviation use. If there are any particular ones that puzzle you then ask away. However, if you are able to bookmark pages then here's a useful one for you which is a list of common liver abbreviations and always handy to have if there are any new ones for you.

Common mistake, glitch if you don't hit right on the button or there's a lag / delay in internet connection it's history, lost in space. So you start all over with a shorter post. 🤔

I tend not to dwell on these indicators of underlying conditions I already have it so to speak. Whilst it just caused me look, yes mine are & I may have Terry's nails. Wish he'd take them back.
I have Cirrhosis in mild classification I'm still feeling fine. I would be more concerned with acute conditions further down the road. 🤔
The degree of redness can vary depending on:
temperature
pressure applied to your hands
your emotional state
if one is holding ones arms up
This conditionTrusted Source can be hereditary. It can also result from specific conditions, such as pregnancy, or diseases, such as liver cirrhosis. There isn’t a standard treatment or cure for the redness itself. If the palmar erythema is caused by an underlying condition, your symptoms may clear after treatment for the root cause. 👍

I have had red palms for a long time. I just assumed it was a symptom of cirrhosis, as I do with many issues I have. My hands are also always cold, as I have peripheral neuropathy, and so the fingers are numb.

His hands are always cold as he is also on Warfarin & does feel the cold Thank you all for you're response.

Joking aside. It can be really painful.
My Neurologist told me that I have neuropathic pain. It's flipping agony sometimes. I've got high sensitivity to, Light, sound and touch.👈
Even my clothes hurt me sometimes.
Taking a shower or having a bath is very painful .As soon as the water touches my skin, i shake like a jelly .
Not because im cold, but because of the pain. I was in hospital for 6 weeks before they let me go home.
I only weighed 6 stone, i was like a bag of bones. It's taken me 5 years to get up to 8 stone. But thats only because my Hubby makes me eat,otherwise i wouldn't bother because I'm just not hungry.🍔 .
Crikey Glo, you have more going on than anybody I know. I dislike strong light and excess sound, but that because of autism.
My peripheral neuropathy is worse in my feet, which are also cold and numb, which makes walking, especially on uneven surfaces very difficult. I just don't get the feedback from my feet that helps with balance.
You must eat properly, if not, it'll be you for the naughty step 👉😊.
My wife Annie is a wee person like you ( 5ft tall), but being scottish, is quite fiery. When she was Matron, her nickname was "The Tartan Terror" 🤣, but she was well liked by all the doctors and nurses, so nothing like Hattie Jacques😊

When I get admitted on some of the wards they start singing that Song
Gloria sang by Laura Brannigan. Sometimes I get the Pneuropathic pain,from the back of my head right down to my feet. Then I go out the Kitchen and Scream. I'm always losing my balance,i don't know if it's because of all the medication I'm on or what. I told the Doctors that I think I've got Toxic Poisoning.
They just look at me and grin and say Hmmm The Paramedics that were here last week said that I've got a few other peoples share.
Well im not greedy by choice. I dont mind sharing. I told my Hubby that if some of this pain don't stop , ill just
starve myself to death.I could easily do it, because I'm never hungry anyway. I've even checked out Switzerland. But the Coronavirus have put a stop on that.

I get migraines, which although not as often, give me, what I call screamers (seriously bad headaches), but I put it down to my brain growing 😊, and of course vision impairment as well.
The unsteadiness problem is hard to cope with. I have had funny looks from people when out walking....I'm sure they think I'm drunk.
I'm not allowed to go up a stepladder now......Annie banned me 😥

Good morning David, I know migraine headaches are rotten. I used to get cluster headaches. They said it was because of high blood pressure. Haven't had them for quite a while 🤞.
How can you put those horrid headaches down to you Brain growing. You need to get proof

I know what you mean about the unsteadiness on your feet. though.
I can't walk on my own because if I do, i will actually lose my balance and take a tumble.
When our boys come out for a visit they make a joke of it ( haven't been out for a while ).They say Mum don't worry about it You used to walk like that years ago 🍷🍾.

Glo , the day you stop using your legs, the day you'll go downhill fast.
So when I try to walk anywhere in the house, there's always something i can hold on to. I don't walk outside at all.
Annie's right David. Stepladders are a No go for you. I know it's hard sometimes, if you want to do a little job .But it's not worth it..

Hi Roz, yes my Hubby's palms are always red. His fingers sometimes go a reddish purply colour , but he's got AF .So i don't know if that has something to do with it. 🤔

I actually got about 3 hours sleep last night, a record for me!! That's 2 nights out of seven!! I'm getting pay back, now though as in a lot of pain. Hey ho will keep smiling 😊

I didn't get much sleep, if any last night. Awww, my Tummy was screaming. I wish that they could have done the Op before this Coronavirus got so bad. I had taken my tablets that help me sleep. So i did get at least 2 hours.
