ESA/PIP claims Coronavirus

Good Afternoon

I hope everyone is managing to keep their spirits up through the current doom and gloom.

Just wanted to advise that I have been speaking to my pals at DWP today and they told me that face to face assessments for ESA and PIP have been suspended for a minimum of three months. Claims will be assessed on the information you provide on the application form and any supporting evidence from your medical professionals. Hopefully the process will be speeded up without the need to attend a face to face interview.

I know we have a lot more to worry about than money at the moment but if you or a family member are likely to be affected financially by self-isolation or even job cuts, this may help a little bit.

Keep smiling πŸ˜„πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

Spirits low & on the wagon, I'm very tempted to swallow my pride ATM. Fingers crossed that supporting evidence works cause we found out the hard way GP shut up shop. Who is manning the pumps?

I'm off on one - Chemist won't accept cash and have a red line on the floor. Local shops wearing gloves for cash.

Sorry. Best wishes one & all. πŸ˜‡

Pride doesnt come into it Feck. If you have paid your contributions for years, claim what you are entitled to and the upside is, you wont even have to dress like a bag lady 🀣🀣🀣
