So having had a liver and gallbladder scan on Monday and finding out I have gallstones and a fatty liver, I had a follow up appointment with my GP and am being referred for the gallbladder.
I almost feel that my concerns regarding the medication are being ignored and he just said it might be an idea to make an appointment with my neurologist to discuss changing meds if I'm really concerned which I have done last night
A lot of the other health problems I'm experiencing are listed as not so common side effects and I'm too and froing to the GP all the time with the same thing over and over yet the possibility is still dismissed.
Very frustrating but I'm tired of feeling like this so not going to let this go now. Changes need to happen.
Ta for listening.

If so, you may also want to consider requesting tests for fibrosis ( stiffening/scarring)
NICE and the British Society of Gastroenterology have new guidelines that state patients with NAFLD should have a test for fibrosis, this could be a specific blood test like a Fib-4 score blood test or a FibroScan ( specific scan to estimate fibrosis)
If you are in the UK and want to discuss this further, please call our nurse led helpline on 0800 652 7330 Monday to Friday 10am to 14.45
