I recently had a prostate MRI. Under "additional findings" radiologist noted "small volume ascites in pelvis". Dr. Google is freaking me out. I will definitely make an appointment with my PCP and/or urologist to follow up on this, but I was wondering if there's a chance anyone has also had a similar experience. I am 55yo, male, extremely fit. I work out with weights or run almost every day. A low to moderate drinker on weekends. Overall in great health. No symptoms of anything. (Prostate MRI was negative btw, nothing found).

Hi, I'm afraid my knowledge of ascites is limited.
For peace of mind I would follow it up/ask for guidance from the gp (to clear the fog of the dreaded Google searches is nothing else)
I believe there are many potential causes of ascites though.
