After spending a few days in hospital due to pain last week and some nice strong pain meds, I am being told my ALT’s are coming down despite my side being very swollen and still giving me pain. They did an ultrasound and didn’t find anything new. Frustrating as the pain and swelling wasn’t this bad when my ALT’s were in the 200’s. Guessing its a wait and see till the next lot of bloods in two weeks time. But in good news my viral load is down 20 so almost undetectable

Good afternoon,
I am sorry to hear that you still have a problem with pain but it is excellent news that your bloods are improving and that the viral load has come down. Hopefully by the time you have your next bloods done your pain will have settled.
regards
