Hi Ivanechimpo looking at these readings looks like there is some inflammation going on!
Sometimes when you get ill for other reasons your numbers can temporary go up ..but the best thing not to do is panic and talk to your consultant about what these results mean!
It's hard not to worry when blood tests are elevated .
Forgot to ask Ivanechimpo are you seeing a consultant? as they really should have discussed what stage your cirrhosis is at!
I think you need to ask some questions to find out how advanced your cirrhosis and to give you advice!
Hi Ivan
Ballie is right you need to talk to your Consultant. NOT telling you off but we are not really meant to talk about actual results values on here...
But in some ways knowing what Stage you’re at isn’t that important. I went all the way through cirrhosis for 4 years, had a Transplant and still don’t know what Stages I went through. The most important thing is to follow your Consultant’s instructions. If in doubt about ANYTHING ask and ask again. Take someone with you when you go to see the Consultant. Write your questions down beforehand and don’t feel “intimidated” by the situation - ask ask ask. Get your partner/carer to write down the answers and to ask anything more on your behalf. If you are like I was I had forgotten half the answers by the time I left the Hospital ☹️.
Good luck Ivan 👍

Well written Miles 😁
Thank you. I see the post has been edited to delete the bit about stages. If you edit a post you really ought to say that shouldn’t you so that it doesn’t make people’s responses look silly!
In fact quite a lot of this post seems different from the original! Hmm not good practice at all!
Miles
Good Morning to you too Miles
I think it's time you crawled back into your bed and got out the other side if you know what I mean !
I've no idea what your on about editing on this thread and to be truthful I'm not in the mood for Mr Picky!
Have a nice day Miles

I’m not talking about your post Slainsey, but the post originator, the post header!! It has been changed.
Oh my 😁...
PS I think you lost the plot a bit there Trishi 😁😁
Miles
Less of the Slaines/Slainsey please ! 👎
Why didnt you write to the originator on the editing as I took it as a dig at me as I'm always editing my errors !
Trishi
Lost the plot ! I did that years ago ☺️☺️☺️
Miles
Hope you haven't taken the hump with me as you know I'm not that sort of person who nasty ☺️😁
Trishi
Anyway Twosmiles
I've re read your original note to me thos morning and it doesn't come across as a friendly good morning Trishi conversation about the originators amendments, so I think I was right in the way I replied ! Go back to bed! 👎☺️👎😊
You didnt even sign off either which also came across as abrupt !
Trishi
Always in a good mood as normal
Your blood results indicate you have ongoing inflammation. What is the cause of your cirrhosis? Are you receiving treatment or been advised to make lifestyle changes? The longer your liver is inflamed the more damaged is likely to be done.
Are you under a hospital consultant? Have you had a 6 month ultrasound scan since your diagnosis in January (protocol is to have 6 monthly scans, bloods including Alpha Feto Protein [liver tumour marker]).
Stages of cirrhosis are usually deduced from symptoms present although many people never get told what stage they are at. In your case you need some follow up just now to try and get whatever is causing your inflammation under control.

Hello, Ivanechimpo.
As a rule, the test results are evaluated in combination with other data - ultrasound, CT, fibroscan, etc. If you already have cirrhosis of the liver, then its stage was also determined by the Child-Pugh score.
Hello and welcome to the Forum.
I have no doubt you will receive excellent support from fellow users. The replies you have received so far encourage you to speak to your doctor so that you can clarify exactly what is going on. Knowing what the facts are will help you to look after yourself better so if you do not have an appointment coming up soon it might be helpful to arrange one, or at the very least speak to your GP. As twosmiles so rightly says - write your questions down, take someone with you and do not be intimidated.
regards
