Difference Between 2D SWE and TE

I recently had what i thought was a fibroscan done and come to find out there is a difference between the scores 2D SWE and TE or fibroscan. My 2d SWE score was 5.98 which on a TE or Fibroscan chart would be in the F0 category. I have been told that I most likely have mild to moderate fibrosis but I am struggling to find a chart for the categories of 2D SWE. Most of them are for fibroscan or TE.

This is as close as I have gotten and is just one study. Has anyone else found a chart or study with the subsequent cutoff values for 2D SWE

I wouldn't look to deep into it especially when you're fibro scan score is good

I also found this easy statement in another medical document

“The best 2D-SWE.GE cut-off values for predicting F≥2, F≥3 and F=4 were 6.7, 8.2 and 9.3kPa.”

I found the same link when checking out my results. I was able to photograph my scan with my mobile so I had more info to hand!

I had the same query, some time ago I had the SWE, thought at the time I was having a fibroscan. They are different mine was measured in ml/s not kpa/s. So the final score wasn’t even on the fibroscan score card.

I asked my doctor what that would mean on the metvair ( not sure of that spelling) fibroscan scorecard only because I understood the kpa measurement more. I was told not to cross reference any machines, there are too many variables that can occur.
