Can anyone relate...

My husband is 6 month post transplant, his libido is very low; after the operation he had an extremely high sex drive. As the steroids were reduced, his sex drive also reduced.

Any suggestions?

Thank you

It's common, the steroids make your sex drive high and then its back down to earth...

Give it another six months and if no improvement go and speak to your gp... I am 2 and a half years post and mine was non existient but I am now on testosterone gel last 4/5 months and things have definitely improved 😊

Thank you for your advice. He had his testosterone checked, and it is fine.

Hubby having a similar issue and we are a year post transplant

Definitely the steroids but he has been on & off them through the year as was taken off them too quickly. Had to be put back on then weened off them. His team at the Royal Free have told him that it can take up to 6 months for it to leave his body completed

My advice keep practising
