Pre op / operation

I’m due to have my pre op Friday 7th June , How many weeks after will be my operation itself ? And how many weeks will I or are people off work for after , I work in a Special needs school , I’m a Support Assistant so always on my feet running around after the Children.

Depends on what your op is. Obviously not transplant.

Hi yes it is to have my Gallstones and Gallbladder removed I have been told it is keyhole surgery.

Me to. I need to have the same operation. I never had any operations. Waiting as long as possible.

I was off about a week after having gallbladder removed . This was about 15 years ago so may be even less time now. I was discharged the day after surgery. I too had an active job.
