Hi Agnes 👍
I didn’t despite still having significant pain under wound which is still here after 7 months ☹️. Ah well, as big freddy says, at least I’m still here 😁👍
Perhaps you should ask why?

Hi Agnes my husband got an MRI scan done when he was approx 4-5 months post transplant as he was experiencing some abdo pain and high temp. They didn’t find anything and he soon recovered. It’s better to get things checked out thoroughly but I would definitely ask them why they want to do it. Best wishes to you at this time, Pam xx
I had one at about six months but that was because I was having rejection...
Are your bloods OK?
Hi Agnes, I had one because I had a stricture and they wanted to keep an eye on it, I hope everything is ok xx
Might be for umbilical hernia then, can’t bend or twist at his waist. Bloods done yesterday to check kidneys to see if he can be put on dietetics , water is filling up in feet, legs and fluid in lungs. On the bright side, eating well and sense of humour intact!!!
Hi Yes I think it’s normal practice I was told that it’s to check the new liver has ‘grafted’ when I had mine 6 months PT also it’s a good idea to get everything checked after a huge procedure! They saw that I had got kidney stones after my MRI ! So I can now deal with that !!
Remember dont have gadolinium contrast when having an mri its poison ..fyi
