So I’ve had a really nasty cold this, no fever or maybe minimal, didn’t check. Since it started I’ve had a consistent ache below my right rib, a little in my back.
My diagnosis is NASH with early fibrosis. I’ve being very well, my bloodwork is all normal. I have metabolic syndrome which is what caused my fatty liver. I only take a few prescriptions that treat The prediabetes, blood pressure and water retention. I’ve lost 50 lbs with proper diet and intermittent fasting. I’ve never been much of a drinker but have completely stopped since I was diagnosed a year ago. (Going to bars is somewhat boring now, but I like to see live music)
I’m just wondering if the pain is back because I’m fighting a cold. Is that a thing? Does the liver hurt when it’s fightinf something? Could it mean it’s not regenerating as well as hoped? Any insight would be appreciated, thanks.
