Hello there Red 50 and indeed Neerav1234,

Welcome, to one of the friendliest sites ever!

Here, you will both find, folk ready to support you and hold you up during the bad times, and good as well.

When I first came to the site, I was truly in a very lonely place, felt like I was drowning.

I know in my heart now I am not alone.

You seek your medical advice from the doctors, here you can feed your heart and soul.

Ask questions about thing you are not clear on, that maybe you are struggling to understand.

Here, I found people who have actually become friends, who are both loving and kind. With such a lot of supportive knowledge as well.

All at differing stages of this disease.

So, be at peace because you can nearly always find someone, who is going through the exact, or near enough same things as you are.

I personally, have liver cancer, I am at the waiting stage, been on the list for 212 days now and have had two calls. But sadly sent home, each time.

I am sure you will both get lots of welcoming replies, from all the awesome folks, on this site.

I am not qualified in the knowledge of the disease to offer advice, but there are lots who are. Those who know how they felt when a letter came that was a tad ambiguous, and that feeling of fear and uncertainty, rose its ugly head.

For now, I send virtual welcome hugs to you both.

Stay strong you are not alone any more.

I didn’t realise you had been waiting so long - yoiks - and 2 calls failed ☹️. I only had one and to say devastated when sent home was an understatement 👎🏻. I really wish you good luck next time and let it be soon!

Nice as always to hear from you. Yes it’s a while, I think it’s because I am O positive blood group. Yes, for sure it feels like Groundhog Day. Lol

Banta. Yes often good banta on here, after all laughter is a good medicine. A couple of good threads on here a couple of weeks ago that I was too tired to join in with but they really made me laugh and feel better xx
