bad nights sleep

Morning, you lovely people, I ve had a worst nights sleep sorry to moan but both my sides hurt I coulnt lay on them. Sleeping on my back feels alien to me. I had pain all around my Liver but the other side aswell. Does anyone else have nights like that? I will be glad to get a proper Diagnosis an d start treatment Sorry for the Rant sooo tired. xx

That sounds very frustrating. Have you tried a hot water bottle? I find that helps me for a little while. I hope you get some rest soon. X

Sorry to hear that - nothing more miserable than a poor nights sleep - it’s very personal how you sleep but oddly enough when I’m suffering with pain I find sleeping on my front helps - bizarre I know but works for me!!!

Hi, I have had pain for 15+ years. At night is worse, it used to be just right sided but now my pain is on the left below the ribs. I think this is due to my spleen being twice its normal size? I saw a pain management team and they suggested I have visceral analgesia. Basically the internal organs nerves are like a net and messages get over activated.

I can't sleep on my back or front, and I rarely get a descent night. It really grinds you down, and impacts every part of your life. So I totally empathise with you.

I do sympathise. I can only sleep on my right or back but my brain wants the left so all night I get woken if I automatically turn on my left. So frustrating. Pain on liver isn’t always there but when it is it’s si annoying

Me to last night feel awful this morning tossed around all night my body aches. Think meds can cause sleep problems. Have had a cold virus as well.

Could be heart or liver related as well xx

I feel for you, I understand how you feel, I go through stages like this. I bought myself a V pillow because I find that it doesn’t hurt as much when I’m raised up slightly as opposed to lying flat. Plus a hot water bottle helps me.

Hi, sorry to hear your in pain but I can only advise you casting my mind bà ck to 2010. I was like you, in paiñ on both sides. Mine þurned out to be liver angry òn rìght and spleen on left, I ended up in hospital. I suggest you call 111 and take advice. Let me k ñow how you get on. Take care, Julie x

Hi , I rang dr yesterday I'm on Codiene Phosphate.my symptoms not too bad today .x
