Oh the joy of A&E? Wonderful nursing team but so many nasty and ungrateful patience (sic) 😡. At one point I was in a pod sandwiched between anolder woman who had obviously been separated at birth from an older who was obviously the person Catherine Tate had based her foul mouthed gran character on! On the other side was a gentlemen who was keen to share with the world that he’d been operated ion and the nurses had stolen his baby, poor chap? So, after the nurses telling them what additional bloods needed taking, a urine sample, X-ray, hourly observations I was deemed fit to go home? I asked what they thought the pains might be? I was told it was most likely a “phantom” pain as the Dr metaphorically patted me on the head and told me “a good nights sleep and regular paracetamol should do the trick? Suddenly I began to become possessed by the spirit of my Bethnal Green upbringing. My mouth was fillin with of foul nouns which were about to fall like tiny atom bombs! However I swallowed those atom bombs and fled into the early darkness. A lucky escape for all concerned! So, all in all I’m fine, allegedly but if the pain persists to Kings I will go! Thank you all for you posts.

Hope your feeling better after the trauma of a&e. Would defo go to specialist hospital if you need to go back. The week before my hubby had his transplant I had to get a doctor out (111 call) she asked us when he's getting his transplant! We were speechless!
My worst experience was when I was admitted with pancreatitis a few years ago. I was put on a mixed ward where patients stayed overnight while they tried to find you a bed. I was quite poorly and was dosed up with morphine. I was woken by an elderly man who was naked from the waist down as he'd wet his pants climbing into bed with me. Luckily I've previously worked as a health care assistant and have seen more willies than you can shake a stick at 😵😳 The nurses put him back in his own bed and I had to get up while they stripped and re-made mine.
Oh dear me, sorry I have just seen this Debs. How awful, but so funny. Like Alfred the Great said just as well you were on the morphine. I am so sorry but it took me quite a few minutes to stop laughing. Forgive me. Jaycee
