We're off on holiday later this month and wanted your experiencs on using flight stockings! What ones have you personally used etc?
I was at Kings last week for dental work and I happened to bumped into a transplant coordinator who was concerned that I was so brown?!! I explained I hadn't been sunbathing obviously and had been using sun block, obviously. I don't.knoe if it's by nature of my genetic herstige that I colour so easily? Anyone had a similar experience?
Thanks
Leigh

Hi Leigh
I’m sorry I can’t say that I can add anything but just wanted to say that I hope you have a great holiday! 👍😁
Hi Leigh, I can't answer your question other than I have a brother-in -law who looks tanned in winter. My wife (his sister) is white in winter but tans very quickly in summer and never, ever burns red. I'd say it's in the gene's. Not flown for quite a few years so have no flight socks info. Have a brilliant holiday, enjoy every minute! Alf.
My hubby is post ltx , he went really brown last year and appears to be the same this year. We haven’t had much sun, and he is wearing factor 50. Truth be said, his colour has never turned back to pink.
Is it a long or short haul flight? I can bear the flight stockings for a short flight, but long haul they become so hot and uncomfortable they have to come off, I'm afraid! Boots do a range of support stockings and hopefully will advise you. Happy hols!
Sorry Leigh,
I, too, have no good advice to impart.
I think your question regarding the socks would be a good one to ask your doctor who would be in a better position to give advice on that. As for being brown - do/did you normally get brown easily in the sun? Or another thing to ask your doctor about.
