Just read this article, and learnt a few new weird and wonderful things, so thought id share ๐Ÿ˜. Ive heard/lived the vampire/werewolf thing obviously, what with the hairy face and sun dodging, but here it says drinking blood might actually bring an acute porphyria attack under control!? ๐Ÿคฏ fox squirrels are born with the same genetic mutation seen in one of the porphyrias but it doesn't affect them, some plants suffer from a similar condition to mine and porphyrins can be used to fight tumours.
