Happy New Year to you all. This is a time that I didn't expect to see and I am so grateful to be here. 2018 was kind to me. A new liver (working well) and my first grandchild, now 7 months old. Also 50 years ago this month I met my lovely wife, she was still just 15yrs at the time and yes, I snatched her from the cradle! lol. So we are celebrating tonight for all these reasons. We shall be celebrating in bed watching Hootenanny and watching the firework display from the local hotel through the bedroom window and we will raise a cuppa to you all. Wishing you all health and happiness and the very best 2019. xx Alf

Happy new year, health and happiness xxx

Great Big Fred you never said 50 years achieved (well you know what I mean - I can’t find right word 😁)

Think you deserve a holiday! No. Wait. No. Don’t go. You’ll only go and hurt yourself! Stay in bed and have a cuddle instead. More rewarding.

Don’t forget THE challenge! Who is gong to win?🏅

Happy New Year to you and yours.

Hi Milo. Re 50 years. I was in a pop group (not at all famous!). My group were given permission to practice for gigs at a local youth club. There she was, I was smitten! Thought I'd snatch her before anyone else thought about it! ......... The challenge....... Be very afraid! .....My body is getting stronger with each passing day. Once I'm mended I will start my serious training, lol. Only had pain killers once in 24 hours. I'm so relieved about that, I was worried what all those tablets could be doing to my new liver! Things are on the up!
