Welcome to this amazing forum!

Go back to your doctor. Tell them what you just wrote particularly the bit about losing him. Alternatively go to A & E now.

Don’ t do what i did which was wait until my appointment by which time i couldn’t walk and my daughter had to push me in a wheelchair into the clinic. I was in there about 3 minutes next thing i remember was being in a hospital bed!

I later found out that the consultant told my wife I wouldn’t make it. No-one told me luckily. 3 weeks later after fantastic care at royal derby I was out.

I am not a doctor nor in any way know what i’m talking about, but best to act sooner rather than later. If it was me again I would rather wait 4 hours at A & E (hopefully less for you less) than go back via GP.

Good luck and please, if you can, keep us informed!

Hi Noeline80, I do urge you to act now, as two smiles said. When I was that ill is like the last thing your husband might want is a trip to hospital. Trust your feelings get to an A+E. If he’s not eating he might need hydration. I don’t know when his last bloods were but a lot can happen til November. I hope you make the decision to go to hospital your situation sounds worrying to say the least. Good luck.
