"Love Your Liver" - Stoke-on-Trent

Well, the "love your Liver" roadshow finally hit Stoke-on-Trent after a year in the planning. Yesterday's event in Derby set a new record of 111 fibroscans. Stoke proved an even busier with 128 scans carried out. The Lady Mayoress and her husband both had their livers scanned and the Lady Mayoress was a great ambassador. She was greeting people and encouraging them to come on in.

The only real let down apart from the weather, was the lack of media coverage. The event was advertised on signal radio who repeated the event, every hour on the hour, which drew it a lot of people. But sadly BBC Stoke, and our local newspaper let us down.

Well done to all at the BLT for a fantastic event, especially both Jonathan and Rebecca who were both marvelous.
