Hi

Sorry to hear about your wife. Unfortunately, nobody on here is qualified to answer your question as we aren't medical professionals.

We can't say how long till her jaundice clears because we can't know her medical history or the ro9t cause 9f the jaundice.

For now keep her on a healthy low salt diet with gentle exercise until she can speak to a specialist about her case.

Sorry I can't be more specific for you and everyone on here will feel the same.

Please don't use a search engine for information. That is unless you use hospital or liver specialist sites like The British Liver Trust ( link at bottom of the page) they can give you general information about various liver conditions.

Make a list of all of your questions and take that with you to and doctors appointment.

Rita x

Welcome to our online liver community.

We are sorry to hear your wife is not well.

This forum is here to share experiences and provide support to each other and we would advise against posting any test results or asking for specific medical advice. This is not a medical forum and should not be used to try and make diagnoses or replace advice from your own medical practitioners who have a much wider view of your health and test results.

Thank you for your support and understanding.
