does anyone know the dvla guidelines for the GGT levels and what levels might trigger a driving licence refusal or your licence revoked and are there different levels for HGV licence.

Not sure, but if GGT is that high that they revoke a license for it. Then that individual definitely wants to cut Alcohol consumption down. GGT can be high for other reasons but a large population with a GGT above the upper limit of normal is due to alcohol or in some cases medications toxic to the liver.
