I was a heavy drinker (age 24) for 4 years 200 units a week ( 3 months sober) have had ultra sounds and LFT all normal no signs of scaring but I have heard there test are unreliable? But NHS will not do any further tests

Congratulations on being sober and long may it continue 😀 if the doctors were overly concerned about your health you would of been sent for further testing and it's highly unlikely that 4 years of heavy drinking could of caused so much damage. Your young and have learnt a very good lesson early on which is don't take your health for granted live a happy long and healthy life x
