Liver pain

Hi I recently had a liver biopsy carried out 2 and a half years ago. I had elevated liver count. I didn't hear anything back from the specialist so I thought everything was ok. I recently started having server pain in my liver. So I went back to the doctor. When they looked at my results from the specialist he wanted to see me again in 6 months for a review. Like I said that was two and a half years ago. I am terrified there is something wrong as the pain is keeping me awake. My GP said they will get in touch with the specialist but it could take a while. Should I go to A&E to see about the pain sooner rather than later. I appreciate your time with this as I am really frightened. Thank you
