Hi everyone,

Thank you for joining our online liver community.

We have noticed a recent increase in followers posting test results and asking for medical advice.

This forum is here to share experiences and provide support to each other and we would advise against posting any test results or asking for specific medical advice. This is not a medical forum and should not be used to try and make diagnoses or replace advice from your own medical practitioners who have a much wider view of your health and test results.

Many thanks for your ongoing support and understanding.

Also, try and understand.. your test results are specific to you and your genetic makeup, etc. So only your consultants and your nurses are privy to all that information and how it works with your body. So something that maybe bad, blood test wise for me. May not be for you. Yes, there are general marking numbers, but they mean nothing compared with all your info. For instance, right before my first transplant my blood levels were great, normal even. But I was getting my belly drained every ten days, up to 21 liters each time. So my test results didn't matter. They weren't showing how sick I really was.so all the advise here could not have helped when it came to test results. This group is supportive and very informative. Read the pamphlets found on here. But go to your doctor's for answers. It seems like every month lately the Liver Trust has to repeat these instructions . I would think it's obvious. Read about the site and follow different posts before you jump in asking questions that no one could possibly know the answer too. I would be very worried if someone knew all the answers since they don't know about me and all my medical makeup and past

Good luck!
