We are seeing a new consultant today guys so if possible any feedback or questions I should maybe ask would be much appreciated thank you
Different hospitals and labs have different ranges and limits of what is normal etc. so it would be inappropriate for any of us to comment as none of us are qualified to interpret lab tests.
Sorry about that but it is best to see the patients own medical team for explanations.

My own experience is that my hepatologist does not have the time to discuss lab values. Or maybe it is me who is too nervous to understand the print out of thre lab results I am given at the end of my visit. Liver panel, proteinogram, coagulation study, iron study, CBC, metabolic panel and what not. Takes me hours of research and comparison to get just a notion of what is going on. Often values seem to change at random. I definitely am not trained enough to get it all.
I admit I'd love to be able to interpret erratic behaviour in transferrin saturation over time, for example, but it will not happen

My hubbies doctors have never discussed or provided any of his lab results other than to say they are ok, within limits, normal or borderline. Only his GP has ever provided print outs and they include the units the results are recorded in and the individual lab range limits. Those above provided by Tink neither identify the units nor guideline limits so none of us are able to say what is normal or out of range.
Hubbies liver specialist is fantastic (at Edinburgh) we are never rushed and she answers each and every question we ever pose to her even if it's only to say they can't provide a definitive answer.
We are grateful to have the fantastic support of his various doctors.
