Hi all, I have had a phone call from Leeds this evening and my alt and alp are stable but my bilirubin has shot right up again over a 100. They suspect it's my bile ducts so off on my jollies again this week for an MRI scan, hopefully that will give us some answers we need 😀

Thanks hunni I don't say this at all really but I just feel tired at moment sick of fighting constantly, don't think this heat helping things lol 😁

Bless you; I think this heat affects a lot of people. I loved sitting in the sun but can't do it anymore. Don't give up sweet ☺, these things happen. Sending you my love and positive thoughts xx

Lol I wish I could eat one but I got bloody thrush in my throat through steroids and everything feels like I swallowing glass x

Hopefully they can unblock and stretch the duct with a stent

Might take more than one but it did sort my hubbies b duct in the end

Good luck with everything . I'm back at Leeds Tuesday they rang for me to go in sooner than scheduled. Wouldn't say why maybe cos I went to hospital on Wednesday for this stomach pain that won't go away. It's getting me down abit cos it's so painful I'm literally housebound and no one seems to be bothered when they know it's not my liver. I think it is though but I suspect we all think that post tx cos it's scary 😱 . Again good luck and I'm sure they will sort it xx

hey jo. I got a call asking me to go this week. Seems Leeds are on a phone around. Rang me around 5pm. Hope ur ok. Might see you there. Get something for ur mouth hun or the thrush will go right through you. It's horrible 😞 xx

Hope you are ok and they get things sorted out soon. It us good they are keeping an eye on you. The first few months after transplant are always a roller coster but it WILL settle down soon. Its just getting used to its new home. It took ages for my David to settle in but he is doing great now and if he niggles a bit i just have a strong talk to him lol. Stay strong. Xxxx😀😊

Hope all is great as can be and find some comfort. Out of all the things we do I find the MRI the best I had mentioned once a long time ago that I felt as if I have claustrophobia from then on it's been medication and a great nap 🤠

We certainly do have to keep smiling ☺ and I know what you mean with the sleep it's annoying but just glad it doesn't wipe me out every day. Hope you manage to get your pain under control sooner rather than later 😊 xxx

I have been looking to see how you are hun,

I hope that your bilirubin count settles soon. Mine shoots up every time I get an infection for God knows why. Hoping this is the case for you.
