Hi gaynor, sorry you are having such a hard time , I don't really have any advice other than I have been through similar things after transplant sometimes worse than others , usually told possibly viral orientated, had to take anti sickness pills just so I could keep down my medication, also tramadol made me really sick, things did improve massively when the steroids were stopped, although still have ups and downs on occasion, I also understand what you mean about the transplant team but take faith that if they were at all worried they would have you right back in so your liver tests must be ok, but I totally get you hang on in there it will get better , take care, look after yourself 💜
Thanks for the advice I feel better knowing it's not only me. I know your right about liver team I think it's the pain etc that's getting me down and making me feel anxious. Thanks again x
i have not had a transplant yet but maybe listed soon...
however a couple of years ago I had a lot of stomach pain but assumed itwas just liver problems but then I had a gastroscopy to check for varices and they yes found varices but also numerous stomach ulcers... which was actually causing most of the pain so although we assume its ourliver or meds in can be unrelated.
might be worth checking with the doc that it couldn't be unrelated... good luck. cazer.
