Chonic liver disease

Sorry if i sound stupid but what should i expect my 76yr old mum

Whats she been diagnosed with? There's a vast difference in prospects between a fatty liver and cirrhosis for example. However both can be stabalised and a non cirrhotic liver can repair with lifestyle changs.

To put things into prespective I was diagnosed with cirrhosis at 27 and need transplant at 42. That's 15 years.

They said she had chronic liver disease but she refused any invasive tests she home now but she is deteriorating daily .

Chronic in this case means long term. Is it drink related?

Yes it is , i didnt realise she drunk so much to be homest
