But now with the morphine and tranqulier I can get up and piddle back and forth inside cooking, washing, little meaningful things. My children are with me. The doctor was supposed to come yesterday but he never bothered to even call say he could make it. My 3 nurses are to be here this morning but they are late and they are not calling. I am going out soon. I am not waiting all day again. Aloha

I have to say animals are the best tonic you can wish for. I don't know how I would have coped a few years ago with my husband's liver failure and ultimate transplant if I hadn't had my cats supporting me! They are the reason I get up in the morning.
As I write I have one of the cats the bed with me. We both send you warm greetings from Norfolk England.

My little hound is so beloved. I have her needs met even before mine. She gets to run in the big woods, hike with my son and his friends, she gets run on the bike and gets out for many little runs just down the path to the beach woods out my back door. She is a social best. She always runs up to me when they bring her back and smiles at me with so much love. It's like she knows I make sure she gets to play lots. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Did you get to see any birds there yet? We had lots of yellow finches here at the feeder then along came a purple finch and junco very pretty to watch them interact....
Not yet. But i listen to their different songs. That was so beautiful.
I heard the beach woods full of dove coo at noon today then around sunset all the chickens on the island were screaming good night to each other. I always think of you now when I hear the bird song. Yesterday at the hospital when getting blood draws there were Brazilian Cardinals all over the grounds. Our little finches are some of my favorite birds. Hope things are going good for you. Aloha

Oh that sounds wonderful! I only get a few little song birds each day 3 times when I eat they always seem to eat too! So my table and chair face my feeder so I am not eating alone everyone here is off to work so my meals are alone here axcept for dinner everyone returns . So happy you are getting birds there they are angels in my book whenever I get a blue bird I think it's a sign of my mom visiting me her and I watched the bluebirds verydaybthrough her window we started to name them it seem the same ones everyday at her feeder as I am sure they were. Hope you have a comfortable day there with lots of feathered friends I have a couple yellow and purple finches here now .

I had one garden a few years back.. there was a tall fence of grass that ran right up to my court yard. Then I always ate with the finches and our green geckos. The grass would sway back and forth. It was the tallest thinnest grass but the finches surely weighed no more than a few ounces. Our finches have red heads and gray bodies, they are Java Finches.
That sounds lovely I am going to lookup that finch you describe I love birds...

the blackbirds are beginning to sing here: even though it's still frosty, the sun shines and there's a sense that the world is turning towards the sun again. the birds where you are will be very different - full of colours! I hope you will enjoy watching them with the binoculars! I'm glad your dog gives you so much happiness - what is his/her name? I have an old, old dog who ambles around and loves to explore the smells of the village - we don't go far now but everyone knows her and says hello! We got her as a rescue dog and she was called Kim - we never changed her name.Thinking of you every day and sending lovexxxxxx

I love to be able just to fiddle around but also is good to be able to do all the Paperwork which is piling up next to my bed...

Very generous of you. That's Roxy, my little love. I try but some days I just have to zip myself up and hide. Otherwise I can become just Totally confusing I have so many thoughts running through my head. I was able to get away from my home beach and go to another in a huge beautiful woods of Banyan Trees.

Sadly, we believe dear Catfish lost her battle some months ago. She was receiving hospice care at the end. She is a very much missed member of our community but she sure lived life to the full, even in her last weeks.
SORRY TO HEAR THAT. Rip catfish condolences to her family x
