Enlarged liver blood test normal some abdominal pain. Really scared. See specialist next week. Has anyone had this? What was final diagnosis

No way would anybody would b able to answer this.

Could be one of many reasons. Afraid u will have 2 wait until u c the consultant.he will have more idea but will need to do lots of tests first.

U didn't say how old you r or gender.

Not that that makes any difference to the diagnosis but it gives a bit of insight as to who we r speaking to.

Anyway good luck I know it will seem a long wait,been there done that.

It is impossible to comment on this as liver enlargement is caused by many diseases.Your doctor will guide you for proper diagnosis

I’m Beagle99 and I was on this site two years ago as an ultrasound showed an enlarged liver and I had terrible stomach pain.

I lost about ten pounds due to the stomach issues within 6 weeks.

Did get more tests. Saw a liver specialist and I have been fine. All back to normal. Strange for sure but grateful.

My good friend is getting a liver biopsy for autoimmune hepatitis. We are worried. I wonder how often lived biopsies turn out bad?
