My first Christmas after transplant has just been ruined. I have to go into Leeds today as I have an infection called cmv only reason I am quite happy is I finally have an answer as to why I have been feeling so rubbish the last month fingers crossed the antibiotics kick in quickly!!!

Feel for you. Hubby spent Christmas period in hospital last year. The staff tried there best to make the day special had a Christmas meal crackers and he had a little pressie but it's just not the same. Just celebrate Christmas when you are back home that's what we did.Christmas in January who says you can't? 😊 hope you feel better soon .xx

Oh no!! I hope you get batter soon and if not able to have the Christmas you wanted this year, I hope you make up for it at New Year. xx

I was on it but consultant took me off it about 6 weeks ago just my luck... They will probably put me back on them once they get this under control

I'm currently in for emergency endoscopy trying to hunt down a bleed, I'm fingers crossed they can get me home for my family's sake, but I need to be well, that is the important bit. I hope the antibiotics work swiftly and you can get sorted.

I'm feeling pretty good at the moment, had a couple of blood transfusions over the course of the night, my blood has never been so good! Just want procedure done I'm soooo hungry!

It's good that they are looking afyer you I hope they get you sorted out quickly and you are home soon. I was in and out of Leeds quite a lot after my transplant but they got me well again. I am there on Friday for check up but fullof a cold so best not visit you. Dont want to pass this on lol. Hope you are home soon. Merry Christmas and an even better new year. Xx :-D

Oh Hun. Sorry to hear you have got to go back in hospital. At least you know why you have been feeling so rubbish and I hope the antibiotics and medical care gets you back to fighting fit soon.
