unfortuantely this is very normal for someone who has gallstones. i hope that you have pain relief. if pain gets really bad go straight to the hospital emergency departement as gallstones can move into the bile duct and cause many complictions. eat very small meals with only 3% fat for each meal. this is quite difficult to achieve. foods like chicken with no skin. rice, fish, soups. any foods that do not have cheese or any kind of cream or pizza's or creamy pastas. no fried or greasy foods. this should help the limit the pain. there are many different symptoms for people who have gallstones and they can vary and change. some people feel nausea and sharp colic like pains in the stomach for which you can get buscopan from your docotor if the doctor is closed you can buy them from the chemist. also omperazole for acid and indigestion. tablest for nausea and pain relief. you can experience pain on the tip of the shoulder or on the back between the shoulder blades. bloating. toilet problems like the runs or even constipation. cramps. tenderness to the touch around the liver area. remeber if any of your pains get worse its important to go to the hospital as i'v mention above. im not 100% well myself today but i wanted to give you some feedback on my own experience with my own gallstone i only had one. i have had the gallbladder removed now. there are many other people on this forum who had had or are waiting to get their gallbladder removed and im sure they will come and share their own experience with you on how they are managing and maybe even what they are eating that will help. as fatty foods make things a lot more painful as it has to do with needing more bile to digest it all. so as i mentions eat small meals. even a little sandwich with lean chicken and a little salad. i also juiced when i had the gallstones but i still had to pour my juice through a seive to strain out any bits of fiber as my stomach just could not take it.keep in touch on the forum. all the very best love grace xoxoxo
